Betty Friedan



Betty Friedan was borned in USA in 1921 and died in 2006,was a woman that fought for the USA's feminism in 1960-1970.

In 1963 she wrote a book,about the feminism and with thid book she won the Pulitzer award in 1964.

This was an authentic best-seller,and this marked the XX century.

On october of 1966,she founded an organization and she gained a lot of things for the women.One of her public events was in New York in 1970.This yeat took place the 50th anniversary of the suffrage.She led an strike for the women equality.Her work,however,not received much criticism.

She too,wrote many works about the women rights.For example "the source of aging" or "the second phase" and finally in 2000,she wrote a memory book about her life called "My life until now"
